This week we did a lot of reading. In the computer lab we are getting better and better with our computer skills. I think everybody loves type to learn. We read to our reading buddies. They seem to like Dr.Seuss. In HSS library we check-outed some Cochecho Readers' books. In gym class a lot of people are good at tennis. I love Fridays and today we get to use the chromebooks and tonight is the Halloween party at HSS.

The Week of the Farm Museum
Last week we went to the New Hampshire Farm Museum. The farm museum was fun. My favorite part was doing the wool. It was kind of hard for me to do it, but I got use to it. When I got kind of good at it, I was thinking it was fun for me (doing the wool.) After the wool we made butter and we got crackers to eat with it, but I didn't want any of it because I wasn't hungry at all. It was fun at the farm museum. My favorite part was feeding the chickens and rooster. It kind of tickles my hand. After that I think we got to see the cows and goats. Some people got to feed the goats and cows. I kind of liked feeding the goats and chickens because it tickles my hand. I know it tickles, but it's fun kind of doing it. The farm museum was great and fun. Recess was fun, too. I played fun things at recess. I wish I could go there to have fun again.

My Birthday Week
This week I heard from some people that they wanted to go on the Dover walk again. I definitely don't want to! I bet some kids also don't want to either. The walk was exhausting to me. My favorite part was the all the animals, not the bugs, but I do like the Butterflies. Also Colby, Leah, and I found the rock Mrs. Brake told all of us to try to find. I forget what it is called. We should practice lining up and we should be very quiet in the halls because kids in different classroom could be working, reading, and a teacher might be teaching. We should also listen to Mrs. Brake.

Our Dover Walk
On Thursday, October 2, the third graders spent the day walking around Dover. Our Dover walk was amazing. We visited Cocheco Cotton Mill, Woodman Institute Museum, Henry Law Park, and Pinehill Cemetery. At the Woodman Institute there was a 2 headed snake, a four-legged chicken, and a bear with a top hat. The Garrison at the museum had a bowl that you mash corn in, and I got to mash the corn. We walked around Pinehill Cemetery and ate snack there. I thought the bride who didn't marry Henry Law was interesting. We had lunch and played at Henry Law Park. At the mill we saw cotton under the staircase, and some glass cases with things that were used when the cotton mill was used. We walked back to the school. On our way to the room we got a popsicle. We talked about our day while we ate it. We had an awesome day!
